…. another type of ‘cooking’ skill employed at the Fife Ethylene Plant, Mossmorran, Fife. Ethane is separated from natural gas liquids and is then itself heated to 900ºC to ‘crack’ it into ethylene, before the gas stream is then cooled to -150ºC to recover ethylene……
